Previously on The Acts of the Apostles: while undergoing a purification ritual at the Temple, Paul is cornered by a mob with claims of bringing Gentiles into the Temple Proper, a crime punishable by death. During the commotion a cohort of soldiers arrives with the tribune who allows Paul (a citizen) an opportunity speak to the amassed crowd.
